Presidenta

Dr. Maria Isaza

Affiliation: Dean of the School of Health Professions and Natural Sciences (HPNS) at the County College of Morris (CCM)

La Dra. María P. Isaza es Decana de la Facultad de Profesiones de la Salud y Ciencias Naturales (HPNS) del County College of Morris (CCM). Nació en Cali, Colombia y emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1990. Ha sido residente del condado de Morris durante los últimos 30 años y actualmente reside en Wharton, NJ con su familia.

 

 

La Dra. Isaza es una ex alumna de CCM y se graduó con una licenciatura en Biología de la Universidad de Santa Isabel en 2002. A continuación, recibió su doctorado en Ciencias Biomédicas de la Universidad de Medicina y Odontología de Nueva Jersey en 2009. Comenzó a trabajar en CCM en 2007 como profesora adjunta y fue contratada como profesora a tiempo completo un año después, en 2008. Fue Presidenta del Departamento de Biología y Química durante ocho años y se convirtió en Decana del HPNS en 2021.

Como decana del HPNS, dirige un equipo dedicado y entusiasta de miembros de la facultad que están comprometidos a proporcionar programas educativos de primer nivel en las áreas de ciencias biológicas, químicas y ambientales; profesiones de la salud, incluyendo enfermería, radiografía, terapia respiratoria, ciencia paramédica y asistente de terapia ocupacional; ciencia del ejercicio y entrenador personal; tecnología de paisaje y horticultura; especializaciones de educación docente y salud pública.


La Dra. Isaza también es muy activa en su comunidad y ha sido miembro de la junta del Comité de Defensa en Employment Horizons desde 2019.  Además, fue seleccionada por los Comisionados del Condado en 2019 para servir en el Comité Asesor de Ciudadanos del Sistema de Paratránsito del Área de Morris.

Iris Goicochea

Iris Goicochea is the Community/Missions Partner & Global Impact Academy Coordinator at Liebenzell USA and a Master of Divinity student at Drew University Theological School. She is also the host of the Caffeinated & Curious Podcast on YouTube.

Maria Rosario Behun

Community Manager, Community and Business Development

Chase Bank            

Mrs. Maria Rosario Behun is a Bilingual Community Manager in Dover, NJ for Community & Business Development. She is a local ambassador for Chase whose job is to build and nurture relationships with key community leaders, nonprofit partners and small businesses at the neighborhood level. Maria hosts financial health workshops, facilitates non-profit partnerships, serves in community volunteerism and offers community programming. She is helping to advance racial equity by supporting Black and Latinx communities with tools and resources to help them improve their financial wellbeing. With over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, prior to that 13 years in the Business Management industry. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Management, from Berkeley College, magma cum laude, and Alpha Delta Sigma, while recently recognized as the Alumni of the Year in 2023. Maria has held a number of positions including VP, Treasury Management Officer, Co-Founder & Board Vice Co-Chair of HOLA, overseeing the Community Service Chapter in the regions of NY/NJ of HOLA, as well as an Ambassador of the Women in Business Program (NJ). Prior to this role, Maria served as an AVP, Corporate and Government Sales Officer and an AVP, Operations Liaison at Valley Bank. She is currently an Advisory Board Member of the County College of Morris EOF's program, Corporate Board Director at Morris County Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce and a Community Relations Director at the Latino Chamber of Commerce, while active at JP Morgan's very own Business Resource Centers Adelante and Women on the Move. Lastly, Maria also serves on the Puerto Rican Association of Human Development Fundraiser Committee and The Housing Partnership's Gala committee. Maria enjoys spending time with family, cooking, coaching the Butler Bloomingdale Youth Club Cheerleaders, volunteering and photography.

Anthony Agudelo

A Colombian immigrant to the United States, Anthony has owned and operated his own landscaping and snowplowing business since 1987. His philosophy is that he wants to create customers for life and he has succeeded in doing so with numerous residential and commercial clients. Anthony gives back to his community through his volunteer work as a member of the Board of Trustees of MCOHA, where he contributes his perspective as a Hispanic immigrant, his expertise as an entrepreneur and his knowledge of the local community. Anthony and his wife are proud parents of two adult sons.

Lydia Silfa

PNC Bank

Lydia Silfa is currently a Vice President at PNC Bank. She has many years of banking experience with various institutions in New York City, including 15 years on Wall Street in different capacities, such as private wealth and institutional custody. Lydia has volunteered with MCOHA since 2013. 
Lydia is active in the community and is a member of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. She has an undergraduate degree in Finance and Investments from Baruch College, City University of New York and a Master's degree in Economic Policy from The New School for Social Research. 

Francis J. Bastone

Frank Bastone is a retired municipal administrator whose distinguished career spans four decades of service to local governments in northern New Jersey. He possesses extensive expertise in finance administration, contract negotiations, personnel organization, crisis management, environmental stewardship, insurance loss control, and municipal utility governance. Frank holds a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a master’s degree from Penn State. He is motivated to serve on the Board of Directors by his belief that his professional background can contribute meaningfully to MCOHA's mission of delivering services and fostering community integration, supporting the nation’s longstanding heritage as a country of immigrants. Frank has been a member of the MCOHA Board of Trustees since 2012. Currently, he serves as a part-time municipal management consultant. His leadership extends to over 18 years on his Community Association Board, including more than 10 years as President. In his personal time, Frank is an avid ice hockey player and an experienced international cruising sailor.

Santiago Garcia

Associate Director, Global Marketing, PTC Therapeutics, Inc.

With over 10 years of experience in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, Santiago currently serves as the Associate Director of Global Marketing at PTC Therapeutics. A Global marketing and commercial strategy leader with a proven track record in directing global launches. He is a trusted cross-functional team leader with a mission to foster innovation and drive impactful solutions. His work is guided by service and a passion for delivering value to community stakeholders. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from the University of Scranton and a Masters of Business Administration in Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing from Rutgers Business School.

Andres Felipe Osorio Atehortua

Andres Felipe Osorio Atehortua is a Colombian entrepreneur and hospitality professional, currently the owner of Las Costillas Restaurant in Dover, New Jersey. He was born in Colombia and immigrated to the United States in 1999. He has been a Morris County Residence for over 27 years and now resides in Mount Arlington, NJ with his family.

Andres Felipe attended Rutgers University Newark as part of The PALS program. He graduated from County College of Morris gaining his Associated Degree as a Hotel Restaurant Manager. He also attended Fairleigh Dickinson University as part of the Blue Burgundy Program and was awarded a Chaine des Rotisseurs scholarship at FDU.

His experience in multiple venues, such as The Madison Hotel, overseeing corporate events and banquet operations; Morris County Golf Club, as a Food and Beverage Manager; and Ravello Event Venue, as a General Manager, led to him buying his own restaurant, Las Costillas. From his many years in the hospitality business, Andres Felipe gained foundational experience in food service operations and business management.

He is very motivated to serve on the MCOHA Board of Trustees to share his professional experience and contribute to the community.
